According to Baron and Kenny’s (1986) method of mediating effects test, social support partially mediated the relationship between acculturative stress and family and community conflict. In conclusion, it is important to develop special education programs for husbands of the multicultural families in rural areas in order to reduce family and community conflict as well as acculturative stress. Finally we discussed the limitations and suggestions for the future research.
