Abstract

At present, with the likelihood of vitreoretinal surgery, a factor of increased intraocular pressure has emerged in the postoperative period and has become widespread as a potential risk factor for damage to the optic nerve. Sequelae of secondary glaucoma leading to loss of visual fields often occur. An analysis was made of the surgical treatment of 21 patients (21 eyes) with secondary glaucoma after vitreoretinal surgery using anterior anterior chamber plasty in order to assess efficacy and safety.
