Abstract

The author and the hero in the work of I.S. Shmelyov Summer of the Lord (article two) The second article devoted to the problem of the hero and the author in the novel by I. Shmelyov Summer of the Lord analyzes peculiarity of autobiographic character of the literature work. Interrelation of the author and the hero as cognized and cognizing orthodox living of the merchant Shmelyovs family creates peculiar two-layered character of narration. Shmelyov combines portrayal of peculiarities of child psychology of perception of the world with his authorial interpretation as a certain idyll. In the novel chronotopos of creative space of Zamoskvorechie with the past time of Czarist-era Russia is realized.
