Abstract
This article discusses the possibilities of adaptation of students at the initial stage of primary school, depending on various forms of educational activity. The results of anthropometric and functional indicators of students are presented. It was found that the form of education affects the level of adaptive potential in boys and the level of the functional state of the body in girls, where significant differences between the corresponding groups were revealed.
