Abstract

The authors study the content of a specialist's opinion (review): a currently popular expert opinion evaluation method. It is noted that the name "review" does not fully refl ect the essence and content of the document prepared by a specialist based on an analysis of an expert opinion. The authors study in detail the content of specialist's analytical activities, mention the competence limits. The author suggests the structure of a specialist's opinion and notes some problems arising in the course of its use in the proving process. The paper arrives at a conclusion about the need to develop methodological recommendations for carrying out an analytical study of an expert opinion by a specialist.
