Abstract

Statement of the problem. This article deals with the formation of knowledge of professional and applied physical education (PAPE) among students, future agronomists, in the context of modern trends in the development of vocational education. The purpose of the article is to determine the sequence of formation of the course on PAPE in higher school and to test the effectiveness of the experimental course on PAPE in the educational process of students, future agronomists. Research methodology. The analysis and synthesis of legal documents in the field of higher education, research works of international and Russian authors on the issues of: – current trends in the labor market; – modernization of the education system; – training of specialists of agrarian University in the conditions of modern production of agro-industrial complex (agro-industrial complex); – application of the information educational environment Moodle in vocational education; – importance knowledge development of applied physical education. The sequence of development of the PAPE course for University students, on the basis of which the experimental course on PAPE for students of the agrarian University specializing in Agronomy is proposed. The goal was realized by means of pedagogical experiment with the use of testing methods and mathematical statistics. Results. As a result of the pedagogical experiment, the effectiveness of the proposed course on PAPE for students of the agrarian University specializing in Agronomy is determined. The practical significance of the research work is indicated.
