Abstract

The presented work examines the features of the current stage of labor market development in the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. Agriculture has become a booming industry in recent years. Fully ensuring domestic food security, the Russian Federation is becoming one of the largest suppliers of food to the world market, since in recent years agricultural exports have traditionally ranked second after oil and gas revenues in export volume. However, the industry is facing serious challenges for further growth, the main of which are negative trends in the industrial labor market. The shortage of labor, aggravated by the "SMO effect", becomes a natural constraint on the further development of the industry.
