Abstract

The article presents an approach to studying the concept of “Labor” in social networks during the COVID-19 pandemic using the example of the Russian social network “VKontakte” involving elements of background comparison with the Chinese social network “Sina Weibo”. The purpose of the study is to determine the cognitive characteristics of the concept of “Labor” during the COVID-19 pandemic against the background of the Chinese concept 劳动. The research is aimed at studying changes in the symbolic component of the content of the “Labor” concept during the pandemic. The scientific novelty lies in conducting a multidimensional analysis of the components of this concept when representing it in contexts from social networks and in describing its modern relevant features.
