Russian abstract: Cтатья посвящена анализу соответствия уровня владения английским языком студентов-первокурсников базовому уровню A2 по результатам входного тестирования, а также практическому опыту применения результатов тестирования при формировании учебных групп по английскому языку. English abstract: The article concerns the analysis of the compliance of the level of English proficiency of the first-year students with the level of English A2 according to the results of entrance testing, as well as the practical experience in using the test results in formation of study groups in English.
