Abstract

The publication covers the issues of the appointment and carrying out of comprehensive psychological and linguistic forensic examinations of video records of procedural actions within the framework of psychological studies of information resources. The use of linguistic and psychological knowledge is relevant because its helps determine special aspects of forming data provided within a procedural action. The data on the presence or absence of an impact from an offi cial or other person on the testimony (explanation) provision process will be the result of the study; in some cases, such data is necessary to determine evidential signifi cance of the obtained information. Based on the performed analysis of the investigative practice, the author singles out typical procedural and technical violations in activities of investigators carrying out procedural actions. The paper gives practical recommendations for the prevention of such violations.
