Abstract
An archeological cult site of the Middle Iron Age, belonging to the Upper-Ob culture (VI-VIII centuries AD) near the village Verkh-Suzun was investigated by the archaeological expedition of the Novosibirsk State Museum of Local History and Nature. 140 bronze objects, mostly anthropomorphic and zoomorphic images, were found at the site. Based on the materials of the findings from the collection of the Museum of Local History and Nature, the museum project Children of Heaven was prepared. The project was carried out in 2018-2021. Based on the materials of the excavations, three exhibitions were held in the museum, as well as an interactive exhibition in the multimedia historical park Russia-My History. Apart from that, an electronic game was created for the museum’s sensory kiosk, and a collection of souvenirs was released. In 2021, an immersive exhibition project Children of Heaven was implemented, which, using sound, multimedia and organization of the exhibition space, provided immersion into the world of an ancient inhabitant of Siberia.
