Abstract
The article describes the model of professional development of the cyber security specialist in the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, developed by the author, which defines the mechanism of personal and professional growth in the process of advancement of specialists in service and is aimed at providing the needs of the field of cyber security in the qualified personnel and most effective use of its potential by contributing to the construction of a military career. The author summarizes the principles of career development of servicemen, aimed at successful accomplishment of tasks and duties of military service and development of their personal qualities. The further directions of creation of the modern system of professional development of specialists in cybersecurity in the context of introduction into the official activity are formulated.
