Abstract
This study aimed to identify the role of institutional governance in its dimensions (participation, transparency, accountability, efficiency, justice) in improving the efficiency of educational administration in primary schools from the point of view of school principals. The descriptive analytical approach was used, as we used the descriptive approach in the theoretical aspect that works to clarify the study variables, while using the analytical approach in the field study because it works to analyze and link the results and interpret them. This study resulted in an increase in the "level of application of institutional governance" in primary schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the point of view of school principals, and an increase in the level of dimensions (participation, transparency, accountability, efficiency, justice). This result is consistent with the results of the study (Al-Khawaldeh, 2018), and an increase in the "level of efficiency of educational administration" in primary schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the point of view of school principals. The study recommended the need to work to maintain the distinguished level of application of institutional governance in primary schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by providing all methods and means that contribute to identifying all developments and methods used in the field of governance application.
