Abstract

The problems of education quality are constantly attracting attention, since it plays a huge role in the development of human society. Despite a wide range of works on improving the quality of training specialists at the current stage of the higher education reform, it can be noted that the problem of studying the factors affecting the academic success of university students is not fully understood. The article discusses the results of a questionnaire survey of the students specializing in “Pedagogical Education” on the choice of the profession of the teacher of mathematics and training at the university. Their analysis is carried out by statistical methods.
