Abstract
The article describes the experience of creating a training course “National-regional component in the teaching of the Russian Language” for undergraduate students studying in the direction of “Philology” of the orientation “Teaching philological disciplines (Russian as a foreign language)”. The content part includes local lore infor-mation about the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), traditional culture of the Sakha people and indigenous minorities of the North, the sights of the region. The practical part is aimed at developing skills in preparing educational and methodological materials on Russian as a foreign language, taking into account regional specifics. The author presented the results of the incoming and final survey among students on the knowledge of country-specific material about the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and demonstrated the educational and methodological materials developed by the students on the Russian as a foreign language with the inclusion of a national-regional component: a dictionary of regional vocabulary, educational texts, creative tasks, case studies.
