Abstract
Purpose: to consider combating the illegal production of synthetic narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in clandestine laboratories with a public investigative activity ‘Inspection of premises, buildings, structures, areas and vehicles’. Research methods: the methodological basis of the work is represented by such methods as description, analysis, and reference to statistical data. Conclusion based on the results of the study: based on the analysis of law enforcement practice, the importance of the public operational-search activity ‘Inspection of premises, buildings, structures, areas and vehicles’ was determined. Scientific and practical significance: highlighting the distinctive features of the public operational-search activity ‘Inspection of premises, buildings, structures, areas of terrain and vehicles’ in identifying and solving crimes related to the production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
